About Us

AnCan | Virtual Support Calls

AnCan is about people helping people, peer-to-peer ….. we are people living with various conditions and situations, who help others faced with similar issues. We do this collectively and individually by providing answers, support and navigation to empower people living with serious and chronic conditions to address their situations.

Upcoming Groups & EVENTS

*Days may change due to holidays

AnCan Foundation is a volunteer organization with a handful of paid staff. All our events are free, and all  groups are free and drop-in. AnCan has limited capacity to provide one-one-one navigation. If we do, it is provided by volunteer peer mentors. Out of respect for their time, we request a donation in an amount you see fit. No one is turned away.

Solo Arts Heal with Elizabeth Jameson

Elizabeth Jameson is an artist, writer, and health advocate.  Since her diagnosis of multiple sclerosis, she has used medical technology to create art as a way of taking ownership of her disease. She transformed her unsettling, clinical black-and-white brain scans into work that invites others to be curious and contemplate
the beauty of the brain, and encourages conversations about what it means to live in an imperfect body.

As a peer-to-peer organization we are not required to comply with HIPAA; nor can we provide medical advice but do offer our own experiences.
