Lindsey Byrne, MS, LGC

Lindsey Byrne is a Cancer Genetic Counselor and Assistant Professor at The James Comprehensive Cancer Center at The Ohio State University. There she started and runs the Genitourinary Cancer Genetics Clinic and works on the BAP1 gene research study.  Responsibilities beyond patient-peer reported outstanding care include education, training and graduate supervision. She is Immediate Past President of her State professional association and current co-chair of the Cancer Special Interest Group for the National Society of Genetic Counselors.

Lindsey is passionate about the impact of hereditary driven prostate, kidney and bladder cancers on individuals and their families. She spreads the word about these risks through community partners.

In her scarce free time, Lindsey loves spending time with her husband and two kids bingeing Netflix, and following St. Louis pro teams (she laments the Rams & Cards!) and Buckeye Football.
