Dr. Laurence Klotz is considered one of the “fathers” of active surveillance as well as focal therapy. He will be speaking about “Prostate Cancer – Active Surveillance and More…Past, Present, and Future” on Wednesday, September 29
Dr. Klotz will cover how active surveillance was developed, its current standing as a strategy for managing men with low-risk to favorable intermediate-risk prostate cancer, and how developments, such as liquid biopsies and micro-ultrasound imaging may come into play for all.
He’ll no doubt have some thoughts for more aggressive PCa, plus a few words to say about anxiety, and the role of support groups like AnCan.
