About Us

AnCan | Virtual Support Calls

AnCan is about people helping people, peer-to-peer ….. we are people living with various conditions and situations, who help others faced with similar issues. We do this collectively and individually by providing answers, support and navigation to empower people living with serious and chronic conditions to address their situations.

Upcoming Groups & EVENTS

*Days may change due to holidays

AnCan Foundation is a volunteer organization with a handful of paid staff. All our events are free, and all  groups are free and drop-in. AnCan has limited capacity to provide one-one-one navigation. If we do, it is provided by volunteer peer mentors. Out of respect for their time, we request a donation in an amount you see fit. No one is turned away.

Webinar: How and Why Prostate Cancer Genomic Tests Work

Webinar: How and Why Prostate Cancer Genomic Tests Work

How bad is my prostate cancer??? We’ve all asked ourselves that! Today there are tests to predict its gravity early in the diagnosis and after surgery.

How do these tests work?
… what’s inside the ‘black box’ that makes it an accurate crystal ball?
… and are all tests born equal?
… the test manufacturers won’t say BUT one doc who will is Dr. Todd Morgans – he’s looked inside all of them.

As a peer-to-peer organization we are not required to comply with HIPAA; nor can we provide medical advice but do offer our own experiences.
