This group supports caregivers of those living with Stage 3 or Stage 4 cancer of any type, and we continue to provide support if and when they are bereaved.

Rick Davis

Founder/Board Member/HiRisk-Recurrent-Advanced Prostate Cancer Moderator

Rick Davis was diagnosed in 2007 with locally advanced prostate cancer and chose two types of radiation and 28 months of hormone therapy. Rick also lives with Visual Snow Syndrome.

Marianne Smead

Care Partners Moderator

Following the diagnosis of her partner, Charlton Jahn, with pancreatic cancer in 2022, Marianne Smead became his devoted advocate.

The Ron Silverio/Heather Block End of Life Options Act has officially become law, making Delaware the 12th jurisdiction in the U.S. to authorize medical aid in dying. Ron Silverio GRHS wife, Susan Lahaie is AnCan’s own Lead Moderator of our Care Partner Group, and long time AnCan particpant in the Advanced Prostate Cancer Group and Veterans programming.
