About Us

AnCan | Virtual Support Calls

AnCan is about people helping people, peer-to-peer ….. we are people living with various conditions and situations, who help others faced with similar issues. We do this collectively and individually by providing answers, support and navigation to empower people living with serious and chronic conditions to address their situations.

Solo Arts Heal with Mr. Mark W. Kissin, FRCS

AnCan and The Marsh (well renown, long-established theater company with a large following in the Bay Area and venues in San Francisco and Oakland) collaborate every 4th Wednesday of the month for Solo Arts Heal.

For February we had a real treat of a guest – decades in the making! Yes, decades. It was our pleasure to have one of Rick’s oldest, and best friends (and AnCan Advisory Board Member) Mr. Mark W. Kissin, FRCS (Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons) join us. This has been a wish for years, and we are so grateful that Mr. Kissin was up so early (around 2:30 am UK time) to make it happen for us.

Upcoming Groups & EVENTS

*Days may change due to holidays

AnCan Foundation is a volunteer organization with a handful of paid staff. All our events are free, and all  groups are free and drop-in. AnCan has limited capacity to provide one-one-one navigation. If we do, it is provided by volunteer peer mentors. Out of respect for their time, we request a donation in an amount you see fit. No one is turned away.
