A Greenville, SC native, born to Celeste Chandler Posey & Albany Posey. Chasta is a 2004 graduate of Woodmont High School in Pelzer, SC. While in her senior year of high school, her health struggles begin. January 2005, the date she received the news of Sarcoidosis, was the moment life changed for the Posey’s! A 4th year Patient Ambassadors for the Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research, Upstate Representative for the Sarcoidosis Foundation of South Carolina, Patient Advocate for the Susan Pearlstine Sarcoidosis Center of Excellence on the campus of the Medical University of South Carolina.
