Dr. John Antonucci MD
John Antonucci is a retired physician who specialized in psychiatry and then addiction medicine. He spent the majority of his career in Public medicine and on the clinical faculty of the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. Since retirement John has been diagnosed and treated for advanced prostate cancer. He has been an active member in AnCan since 2020, and once AnCan calmed him down sufficiently he began using his medical and science background to assist AnCan with assignments such as liaison with medical and scientific agencies, researching topics in medicine, and bringing information in to assist the “brain trust” with topics of interest. Southern Arizona has been know to pull John and his wife Ray away from Connecticut in the depths of winter – but CT ice cream gets them back!
