Dr. Laurence Fong is a genitourinary medical oncologist, Professor and lab leader at UCSF. With a long interest in immunotherapy, he was recently appointed Co-director of the Parker Institute endowed UCSF Immuno-Oncology Center. Larry has an illustrious research history developing groundbreaking immunotherapy drugs such as sipileucel-T (Provenge) and ipilumumab (Yervoy). He is also an outstanding and wonderfully compassionate clinician who has treated several AnCan participants.
