Hannah Garrison

Art Director and Instructor, MS Moderator

Hannah Garrison was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in June of 2017 and has experienced all kinds of common and not-so-common symptoms in her journey. She loves to flip the bird to every single one of them. She’s made it her mission to teach people the relaxing side of doing art and supporting yourself through doing what you love. She lives in San Antonio, TX, where she creates and teaches therapeutic arts modalities. She is not a licensed professional but feels that her art was instrumental in helping her to overcome her mental and physical struggles as she grieved the loss of the life she once knew. She loves connecting with other people with MS and other chronic illnesses. She has been a support group leader with the MS Society’s San Antonio chapter. Hannah has given speeches about her experiences with MS, and she was named the MSAA’s Benefit Honoree for 2022 for her role in helping to establish their “Improving Lives Through Art” fundraising series. She has a puffer fish, 3 cats, and a chihuahua that she absolutely adores.
