Rob lives outside Philadelphia, PA. He is married with two adult children and Coco (a cockapoo who runs the house). He enjoys traveling, and is an avid University of Michigan sports fan – GO BLUE!
Rob is a three-time cancer survivor, including being diagnosed with Stage IIb pancreatic cancer in 2014. Rob participated in a clinical trial that tested the impact of Vitamin D taken in conjunction with four rounds of chemotherapy – a cocktail of Gemcitabine and Abraxane. He serves on oncology patient councils with two pharmaceutical companies and the Patient & Family Advisory Council at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. In addition, Rob publishes a blog on the patient journey – Through the Patient Lens and frequently speaks at healthcare conferences.
