Low/Intermediate, Under-60 Prostate Cancer Moderator
Russ Smith is committed to making other lives better. For many years, he has actively moderated peer suport groups to help men quit chewing tobacco.Then in 2018, he was diagnosed with Stage 3 prostate cancer, chose robotic surgery in 2019, and addressed recurrence 1 year later with 39 rounds of radiation and 6 months of hormone therapy. This pulled him into the world of cancer advocacy and a particular interest working with men living with cancer.
Russ resides in southern New Hampshire, is married 34 years with 3 grown boys. During work hours, Russ franchises urgent care facilities. Other times he is reffing/umpiring any high school game he can find.
