David Muslin
David grew up in Rogers Park, on the far north side of Chicago. As a kid, he loved building and racing go-karts, riding his bicycle, and spending Saturdays in his father’s electrical shop. He’s largely the same guy today: he loves cars and boats, riding his bicycle, and chasing deals.
David has worked in the industrial equipment business for fifty years, first learning the business at 17 from his step-father by following him around manufacturing plants. He was the CEO/Owner of Perfection Machinery, and today is Chairman and Founder of PPL Group and Big Shoulders Capital, which build auction, financing, and equity deals around distressed manufacturing and commercial assets.
David is an active participant and staffer with Victories of the Heart, a Chicago-based men’s support group. Diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2017, he has been a member of and unofficial recruiter for AnCan since 2020.
