Dr. Steve Wool, MD

Dr. Steve Wool is the type of doc most of us dream of having! Steve is an internist, family medicine and geriatric practitioner who could have entered any specialty he chose after graduating Washington U in St. Louis pre-med, Duke Medical School, then becoming Chief Resident at University of Arizona. Growing up in Waukegan, (barely) Illinois, Steve followed the footsteps of his dad, a family practitioner.

What separates him is an inexhaustible compassion for those he treats, and Steve’s out-of-the-box thinking that makes him a remarkable diagnostician – exactly what’s needed from your GP. Dr. Steve still makes house calls but when he’s not working, you’ll usually find him on his road bike at the crack of dawn, or out of town (Tucson) visiting kids and grandkids in Colorado or Idaho. Once in a blue moon, Steve might be breaking bread with his buddy of 40 years, Rick Davis, who was always able to run faster but never could beat him at tennis.
