Susan Lahaie was a caregiver to her husband Ron Silverio who was diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer in 2012. Susan and Ron participated regularly in the advanced prostate cancer support group meetings, and Susan received support from the Caregiver’s group. She can testify to the value of virtual support! Cancer claimed Ron’s life in 2018 but never his spirit. Susan lives is Dover, Delaware. Susan is a retired career USAF officer and nurse practitioner who specialized in women’s health.
