Are welcome! Non-US Veterans are welcome too.

 

We’ll focus on a diverse spectrum of issues Veterans deal with, including:

 

• Disability and Health Care Issues

• Navigating the VA system

• Tricare, Tricare for Life, Dual Registration, and Insurance

• Mental Health

  • Benefits

When and Where

Our video chat virtual group meets on the 1st & 3rd Tuesdays the month at 8 pm Eastern, 7 pm Central, 6 pm Mountain and 5 pm Pacific in the AnCan Schmier Room. Bill was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2015 aged 51.  Two months after a prostatectomy, he experienced a rapid rise in PSA and was treated with adjuvant radiation and 22 months of androgen deprivation therapy (Lupron).

Susan Lahaie was a caregiver to her husband Ron Silverio who was diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer in 2012.

Ken Mason has way too much experience with cancer ...... diagnosed with low risk prostate cancer for which he follows active surveillance, he subsequently found low risk bladder cancer during an NIH exam, and then kidney cancer.
